# New Releases

In Theaters:

1. Captain America: The Winter Soldier (PG13)
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, lives quietly in Washington, D.C. trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk
2. Nymphomaniac: Vol 2 (NR)
Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg), a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, recounts the erotic experiences of her adulthood.
3. Under the Skin (R)
An alien seductress (Scarlett Johansson) preys upon hitchhikers in Scotland.

1. Elder Scrolls Online (PC/Mac)
A massively-multiplayer online game set in the Elder Scrolls universe.
2.Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate — Deluxe Edition (PC, 360, PS3, Wii U)
A 2.5-D game developed by Armature Studio. A companion game to Batman: Arkham Origins.
3. FTL: Advanced (PC/iPad)
New free expansion for PC as well as an iPad version with same expansion.
4. MLB 14: The Show (PS3)
Swing for the fences in MLB 14: The Show, the 2014 baseball game from Sony Computer Entertainment.
5. Goat Simulator (PC)
Goat Simulator allows players to run around town as a goat.

Music:

1. Sweet Disarray – Dan Croll
The debut release for the Liverpool-based singer-songwriter was self-produced.
2. In Each and Every One – Polar Bear
This is the fifth full-length release for the experimental jazz band led by Sebastian Rochford.
3. Salad Days – Mac DeMarco
This is the second full-length solo release for the Canadian singer-songwriter.
4. Baby – White Hinterland
The third full-length studio release for Casey Dienel was self-produced in a home studio in her parents’ basement.
5. A Dotted Line – Nickel Creek
The Grammy-winning bluegrass trio of Chris Thile, Sara Watkins, and Sean Watkins return from its 2007 “indefinite hiatus” to release its Eric Valentine-produced sixth studio album.

DVD/Blu-Ray:

1. 47 Ronin – Blu/DVD – Based on an ancient tale of revenge and honor, this exciting fantasy adventure plays fast and loose with the historical accuracy, but with lots of CGI to fill in the gaps.
2. The Pirate Fairy – DVD – In a story that happens before the Disney animated feature. The fairy Zarina seeks adventure and her quest drives her out of Pixie Hollow. It also drives her into the hands the the pirates of Skull Rock. It’s up to Tinker Bell and her friends to bring Zarina back.
3. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues – Blu/DVD – Ron Burgundy returns! This time he and his crew are in New York and they’re gonna set the 24 hour news cycle on fire!
4. Four Seasons – DVD – Xavier is about to finally settle down. But before he goes into permanent couple hood he wants one last go at the dating scene. He decides to date a woman in each season, and then pick the one he will marry.
5. The House of Good & Evil – DVD – A couple moves into a small town to get away from the pressure of city life. But this town though houses dark, deadly secrets.

* Aquaman and the Others #1 – A new series featuring the King of Atlantis and his team of heroes. They are tracking down a mysterious foe who is after their artifacts. Written by Dan Jurgens and art by Lan Medina and Edgar Tadeo

## Marvel:

* Moon Knight #2 – Warren Ellis has taken the challenge of making Moon Knight awesome. The Previews team sounds impressed. Written by Warren Ellis and art by Declan Shalvey

## Dark Horse:

* Angel and Faith Season 10 #1 – Angel has taken it upon himself to watch over a section of London that’s been flooded with magic. Meanwhile Faith is taking out zompires (?) with … Buffy?! Written by Victor Gishler and art by Will Conrad

## Kaboom!/Boom Studios:

* Dead Letters #1 – Sam has stumbled into the middle of a gang war, that he didn’t remember being in when he wakes up. It’s going to take quick thinking and hopefully the return of his memory to sort this all out. Written by Christopher Sebela and art by Chris Visions

## IDW:

* Monster & Madman #2 – The Frankenstein Monster is in Whitechapel, in 1888. But so is The Ripper! As the body count rises who is the true culprit. Written by Steve Niles and art by Damien Worm

## Image:

* The Field #1 – Christian, a former Bible salesman, has found a man with no memory, no clothes and a cell phone that gives him cryptic text warnings. But Christian isn’t walking the “straight and narrow” he’s currently in the middle of a caper that involves sex, meth and murder. How in the world will this end?
