In Theaters:

  • The Boss – A titan of industry is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading. When she emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart, not everyone she screwed over is so quick to forgive and forget.
  • Hardcore Henry – You remember nothing. Mainly because you’ve just been brought back from the dead by your wife (Haley Bennett). She tells you that your name is Henry. Five minutes later, you are being shot at, your wife has been kidnapped, and you should probably go get her back. Who’s got her? His name’s Akan (Danila Kozlovsky); he’s a powerful warlord with an army of mercenaries, and a plan for world domination.
  • Demolition – Davis (Jake Gyllenhaal), a successful investment banker, struggles after losing his wife in a tragic car crash. Despite pressure from his father in law Phil (Chris Cooper) to pull it together, Davis continues to unravel. What starts as a complaint letter to a vending machine company turns into a series of letters revealing startling personal admissions. Davis’ letters catch the attention of customer service rep Karen (Naomi Watts) and, amidst emotional and financial burdens of her own, the two form an unlikely connection.
  • Louder Than Bombs – An upcoming exhibition celebrating photographer Isabelle Reed(Isabelle Huppert) three years after her untimely death brings her eldest son Jonah (Jesse Eisenberg) back to the family house – forcing him to spend more time with his father Gene (Gabriel Byrne) and withdrawn younger brother Conrad (Devin Druid) than he has in years. With the three of them under the same roof, Gene tries desperately to connect with his two sons, but they struggle to reconcile their feelings about the woman they remember so differently.

  • Love Streams by Tim Hecker – The eighth release for the Los Angeles-based Canadian composer features contributions from Kara-Lis Coverdale, Grímur Helgason, The Icelandic Choir Ensemble, and Jóhann Jóhannsson.
  • Human Performance by Parquet Courts – The fifth full-length release for the Brooklyn rock quartet was produced by the band’s singer/guitarist Austin Brown.
  • Painting of a Panic Attack by Frightened Rabbit – The fifth full-length release for the Scottish indie rock band was produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner.
  • Junk by M83 – The first new studio release in over five years for the French electronic-pop band led by Anthony Gonzalez features guest appearances from beck, Mai Lan, Jordan Lawlor, and Susanne Sundfør.

  • Riot – Blu/DVD – Balam, is the most feared crime lord in the city. So feared that he can control the city from within the central prision. Officer Jack Stone’s family was killed by Balam’s lackies. Now Jack is going behind bars, the take out the man that holds the city in the palm of his hand.
  • The Von Trapp Family: A Life of Music – DVD – This film is based on the life of Agathe, the eldest Van Trapp. The story coveres the time before The Sound of Music and the times that followed. Through the heights and the depths there was always music.
  • Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Blu/DVD – A movie that needs almost no introduction or summary. It’s the latest Star Wars film you can own. Bring Rey, Finn, Po, Kylo, and BB8 home, so you can watch it agian for like the seventh time.

  • Harley Quinn & Suicide Squad: April Fools Special #1 – Dr. Harleen Quinzel has setup a group therapy session for the disturbed of the DCU. Alas the good doctor is not so altruistic, she begins to turn the dark plots against their owners, which actually uncovers a deeper joke being pulled on Harley.

Marvel

  • Black Panter #1 – There is deep unrest in Wakanda. Now the Black Panther must decide how to do right by the people.

Dark Horse

  • Predator: Life and Death #2 – Colonial Marines vs. Predators. A hunt to be proud of! The prize is a mysterious crashed space ship.
