In Theaters:

1. The November Man
Peter Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan), aka The November Man, is an extremely dangerous and highly trained ex-CIA agent. Lured out of retirement for one last mission, Devereaux must protect Alice Fournier (Olga Kurylenko), a valuable witness who could expose a decades-long conspiracy. This assignment makes him a target of his former friend and CIA protégé David Mason (Luke Bracey). With growing suspicions of a mole in the agency, there is no one Devereaux can trust.
2. Starred Up
19-year-old Eric (Jack O’Connell) is prematurely transferred to the same adult prison facility as his estranged father (Ben Mendelsohn). As his explosive temper quickly finds him enemies in both the prison authorities and fellow inmates — and his already volatile relationship with his father is pushed past the breaking point — Eric is approached by a volunteer psychotherapist (Rupert Friend), who runs an anger management group for prisoners. Torn between gang politics, prison corruption, and a glimmer of something better, Eric finds himself in a fight for his own life, unsure if his own father is there to protect him or join in punishing him.
3. As Above, So Below
Miles of twisting catacombs lie beneath the streets of Paris, the eternal home to countless souls. When a team of explorers ventures into the uncharted maze of bones, they uncover the dark secret that lies within this city of the dead.
4. Life of Crime
The wife (Jennifer Aniston) of a corrupt real estate developer (Tim Robbins) is kidnapped by two common criminals (Yasiin Bey and John Hawkes), who intend to extort him with inside information about his crooked business and off-shore accounts. But the husband decides he’d actually rather not pay the ransom to get back his wife, setting off a sequence of double crosses and plot twists that could only come from the mind of Elmore Leonard.
5. The Congress
More than two decades after catapulting to stardom with The Princess Bride, an aging actress (Robin Wright, playing a version of herself) decides to take her final job: preserving her digital likeness for a future Hollywood. Through a deal brokered by her loyal, longtime agent (Harvey Keitel) and the head of Miramount Studios (Danny Huston), her alias will be controlled by the studio, and will star in any film they want with no restrictions. In return, she receives healthy compensation so she can care for her ailing son and her digitized character will stay forever young. Twenty years later, under the creative vision of the studio’s head animator (Jon Hamm), Wright’s digital double rises to immortal stardom. With her contract expiring, she is invited to take part in “The Congress” convention as she makes her comeback straight into the world of future fantasy cinema.

DVD/Blu-Ray:

1. Aftermath – Blu/DVD – They really blew it up this time. Now a group of strangers is trapped in small cellar with nuclear fallout raining down around them. Their supplies are dwindling and the outside if full of poison and the unknown. Do they stay and face death together in relative safety or do they venture out and try to make the best of it? Oh and did I mention the legions of zombie like survivors outside?
2. Almost Human: The Complete Series – DVD – Detective Kennex is back on his feet … well mostly. He is physically recovered from the tragedy that took his parter, and nearly him. But things have changed while he was away and now he must work with a synthetic partner. He ends up with Dorian a “Synthetic Soul” android who finds away to befriend Kennex and get past his hard shell.
3. Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return – Blu/DVD – This story continues the tale of a lost Kansas girl, and her stalwart friends as the work to set the land of Oz back to rights. Featuring a rather brilliant cast with Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Bernadette Peters, and Martin Short, to name just a few.
4. The Raven – DVD – From the Universal Vaults comes this chilling classic, featuring Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. The famous poem by Poe is more of an inspiration than a source for this story of a mad doctor who intentionally disfigures a man as an experiment. This mad doctor also has a hobby of recreating the instruments of torture featured in some of Poe’s tales. This time though, the mad doc may have found his match.
