# New Releases
In Theaters:
1. Maleficent
Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king’s newborn infant Aurora.
2. A Million Ways to Die in the West
After a cowardly sheep farmer backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love.
3. Filth
Detective Sergeant Bruce Robertson (James McAvoy) wants a promotion. He is clearly the best man for the job—the rest of his colleagues are just idiots. Annoyingly, there’s been a murder and Bruce’s boss wants results. No problem for Bruce. He’s in control, and when he solves the case and wins the promotion, his wife will return to him. No problem, right?
3. NIght Moves
As organic farmer Josh (Jesse Eisenberg), high society dropout Dena (Dakota Fanning) and ex-Marine Harmon (Peter Sarsgaard) plan, carry out and then witness the fallout of an attention-grabbing act of sabotage, they find their own personal limits tested.
4. We Are the Best
Three girls in 1980’s Stockholm decide to form a punk band—despite not having any instruments and being told by everyone that punk is dead.

3. The Sly Collection (PS3, Vita)
The Sly Collection features three PlayStation 2 action-packed classic hits (Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves).
4. Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
Mario Kart 8 introduces new racing circuit designs and antigravity karts that will have players driving upside down. Players will also enjoy a variety of series-favorite features, including the return of 12-player online competitive play, hang-gliders, underwater racing and motorbikes.
5. Slender: The Arrival (360, previously on PC)
Slender: The Arrival is the official continuation of Slender: The Eight Pages. A combined effort from the writers behind the Marble Hornets series and the development team at Blue Isle Studios, Slender: The Arrival features a brand new storyline and improved visuals.

1. A Letter Home – Neil Young
Originally released on vinyl for Third Man Records on Record Store Day, the 12-track lo-fi (recorded on a Voice-O-Graph and accompanied/co-produced by Jack White) covers album from the Canadian singer-songwriter features songs from such artists as Bob Dylan, The Everly Brothers, Bert Jansch, Willie Nelson, Phil Ochs, and Bruce Springsteen.
2. Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse – Mariah Carey
The first original studio release in five years for the R&B/pop singer features guest appearances from Fabolous, Miguel, Nas, Wale, and her twins.
3. A U R O R A – Ben Frost
The fifth full-length studio release for the Iceland-based Australian producer was influenced by his time in the eastern Congo.
4. The Feast of the Broken Heart – Hercules & Love Affair
Co-produced by Ha-Ze Factory and Mark Pistel, the third full-length studio release from the Andy Butler electronic collective features guest appearances from John Grant, Rouge Mary, and Krystle Warren.
5. LA Spark – Wrangler
This is the debut electronic release for the collaboration from Cabaret Voltaire’s Stephen Mallinder, producer Ben Edwards, and Tunng’s Phil Winter.
DVD/Blu-Ray:
1. Journey to the West – Blu/DVD
Xuan Zang a demon hunter (Note in most Asian mythologies a demon = a spirit or being of power, not always a creature of evil) defeats and brings under his wing a group of powerful creatures, including the elusive Sun Wukong (The Monkey King). In order to purify their souls and protect the innocent the group takes on a quest into the west, which is fraught with peril. This is directed by Stephen Chow, who directed Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer.
2. Cheap Thrills – Blu/DVD
A man finds himself near the end of his rope, he’s been fired, he and his family are about to be evicted, and there seems to be no way out. Until he stops in a bar to drown his sorrows, and meets an obscenely rich couple that offer him cash … as long as he goes along with their increasingly bizarre and risky dares.
3. Run & Jump – DVD
An Irish family is in turmoil as a stroke leaves the father mentally disabled and his personality changed. This puts the pressure on the wife to care for keep the family going. An American Doctor’s grant fund, to document how the family recovers helps keep things afloat, and the doctor himself serves as a calming influence on the family. His presence also has a deeper effect on the family as it moves forward.
4. Challenge of the Gobots: The Series Volume 1 – DVD
The GoBots have returned! Follow the mighty adventures of the Guardians as they protect the earth and Gobotron from the Renegades. This is a disk on demand product.
5. Patrick: Evil Awakens – Blu/DVD
A young nurse becomes fascinated with Patrick a comatose patient in the psych ward. Patrick is also the focus a doctor who’s methods are … a bit “radical”, shall we say. The fascination takes a sinister turn as Patrick’s growing psychic abilities begin to push her life into dark places.

* Batman #31 – Zero Year – Savage City is in it’s second chapter while Batman is in the middle of unraveling the mysteries of the Riddler he must also figure out how to work with his new ally Lt. Jim Gordon.
### Marvel
* Guardians of the Galaxy #15 – The Guardians are in the cross hairs of the galaxy, but Star Lord is missing. Captain Marvel steps into the hole in the team but w/o Star Lord what does that mean for earth?
### Dark Horse
* Tomb Raider #4 – Lara is being chased through the streets of London in her search for the truth. This choice not influenced by me playing lots of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition … noooooot at all.
### IDW
* Samurai Jack #8 – Jack reflects on his journey to get home, it may not end the way he thought. A special issue drawn by Andy Suriano, the character designer from the show.
