DVD/Blu-ray
Age of Dragons (blu/dvd) Moby Dick … if the white whale was a white dragon. Stars: Danny Glover, Vinnie Jones, Cory Sevier, Sofia Pernas. What could possibly go wrong.
Break (blu/dvd) Staring Stephen Dorff – A man is trapped in the trunk of a car and is tortured ever time a counter hits zero. He must decide if he will give in to the torture and tell his captors about the president’s hidden bunker or how he will fight back against the terrorists
Island of Dr Moreau – unrated director’s cut (blu/dvd) This re-telling of an H.G. Wells story is critically panned, but something of a cult/guilty pleasure. The highlights being Marlon Brando, Val Kilmer, and some astonishing makeup effects by Stan Winston.
Jiro Dreams of Sushi (blu/dvd) A bio pic about Jiro Ono an 85 year old sushi chef, who stands at summit of the sushi world. This film covers his rise to culinary fame and how he blananes this with family life.
Silent House (blu/dvd) A women becomes isolated in her family’s lake house. The ominous story is told as one long take.
Star Trek: TNG (blu) S1 COMPLETELY remastered for Blu-ray. Nuff said.

Comics:
-
Marvel:
John Carter: Gods of Mars #5 – Really like the illustrator on this title, plus it’s better than the movieWinter Soldier #8 – Bucky Barns, far from dead and kicking butt! A more espinage focused story too. -
DC:
Before Watchmen: The Comedian #2 – DC is commited to this “Before” line and seems to be doing fairly wellAmerican Vampire # 29 – While vampires are all the rage, this story has a more orginal spin on much of the mythos and characters -
Indie:
Reed Gunther TP #2 – An irrevernt and hilarous wester where the cowboy rides a bear.Ghostbusters #11 – Some how I missed that there is an ongoing Ghostbusters comic. Donno if it’s any good but worth a try. -
Web:
Atland – http://www.realmofatland.com/ – An odd high fantasy epic, with an irreverent sense or humor. Also not excatly for thet kiddos due to mature subject matter. The creator, Nate Piekos, is one of the cooler people in comics as he makes and gives away pro level comic lettering fonts for indie projects, the fonts are on http://www.blambot.com
