The drama tells the true story of this unholy alliance, which spiraled out of control, allowing Whitey to evade law enforcement, consolidate power, and become one of the most ruthless and powerful gangsters in Boston history.
- Captive – In this fact-based thriller, a single mother struggling with drug addiction is randomly taken hostage in her own apartment by a man on the run from the law for breaking out of jail and murdering the judge assigned to his case.
- Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials – Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.
- Everest – Inspired by the incredible events surrounding a treacherous attempt to reach the summit of the world’s highest mountain, Everest documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind. DVD/Blu-ray:
- Cinderella – Blu/DVD – This live action take on the classic tale of a girl who’s fate is changed through hard work, and deep and unyielding optimism. Did I neglect the helpful and magical beggar lady? Suffice to say pure hearts and a little magic can change everything.
- Disney Nature’s Monkey Kingdom – Blu/DVD – While they’re very cute, life as a monkey is not always as fun as it looks. Documentairans follow a newborn monkey and mother as they try to find their place in the social structure of the Temple Troop.
- Furious 7 – Blu/DVD – “It ain’t always about being fast.” The prophetic words of Dominic Turreto in the latest of the Fast and Furious franchise. Defiantly one of the biggest of the movies to date, and the first time I ever teared up in a Fast and Furious movie.
- Lego Star Wars: The New Yoda Chronicles – Blu/DVD – The story seems to set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Luke and Yoda discover a set of Holocrons, devices which hold the memories of past Jedi. But Darth Vader and the Emperor also seek these for the furtherance of the Empire!
