In Theaters:

  • No Escape – As an American businessman (Owen Wilson) and his family settle into their new home in Southeast Asia, they suddenly finding themselves in the middle of a violent political uprising. They must frantically look for a safe escape as rebels mercilessly attack the city.
  • Queen of Earth – Catherine (Elisabeth Moss) is a woman careening towards emotional collapse after a one-two punch of heartbreaking events. Seeking peace and solitude, she heads to the secluded lakehouse of her best friend, Virginia (Katherine Waterston). But their quiet country retreat becomes a journey into steadily mounting hysteria as past and present collide and the love-hate relationship between the two women threatens to tear them apart.
  • We Are Your Friends – Set in the world of electronic music and Hollywood nightlife, an aspiring 23-year-old DJ named Cole (Zac Efron) spends his days scheming with his childhood friends and his nights working on the one track that will set the world on fire. All of this changes when he meets a charismatic but damaged older DJ named James (Wes Bentley), who takes him under his wing.
  • Z for Zachariah – In the wake of a disaster that wipes out most of civilization, a young woman (Margot Robbie) survives on her own, fearing she may actually be the proverbial last woman on earth, until she discovers the most astonishing sight of her life: another human being. A distraught scientist (Chiwetel Ejiofor), he’s nearly been driven mad by radiation exposure and his desperate search for others. A fragile, imperative strand of trust connects them. But when a stranger (Chris Pine) enters the valley, their precarious bond begins to unravel.
  • Turbo Kid – In a post-apocalyptic future, The Kid, a young solitary scavenger obsessed with comic books must face his fears and become a reluctant hero when he meets a mysterious girl named Apple. Despite their efforts to keep to themselves, Zeus, the sadistic and self-proclaimed leader of the Wasteland, plagues The Kid and Apple. Armed with little more than blind faith and an ancient turbocharged weapon, The Kid learns of justice and friendship and embarks on an incredible journey to rid the Wasteland of evil and save the girl of his dreams.

  • Bad Magic by Motörhead – The 22nd studio release for the British metal trio was produced by Cameron Webb and features a cover of The Rolling Stones’ Sympathy For The Devil.
  • Stuff Like That There by Yo La Tengo – The latest release for the New Jersey indie rock band features covers of songs by the Cure, the Lovin’ Spoonful, Darlene McCrea, the Parliaments, Sun Ra, and Hank Williams, as well as reworkings of its own older songs
  • Depression Cherry by Beach House – The fifth full-length release for the indie duo was produced with Chris Coady.
  • Poison Season by Destroyer – The second full-length release for Dan Bejar’s solo project was produced by John Collins.

This film is about her life, but not just fashion that drives her life but the passion for life, for creativity, for pursing the things she loves that helps keep her young and young at heart.
  • Lego Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom – Blu/DVD – There is dissension in the ranks of the Justice League as they vie for leadership. In the meantime the villains of the DCU have started their own club with one goal, destruction of the Justice League.
  • Lila and Eve – Blu/DVD – After losing her son to a senseless shooting Lila finds a support group of other mothers, here she connects with Eve. Lila’s pursuit of justice is fraught with roadblocks, so she and eve decide to take justice to the killers themselves.

DC

  • Batman: Arkham Knight Genesis #1 – First issue in a new mini-series, following the events that led to the creation of The Arkham Knight.

Marvel

  • Old Man Logan #4 – The twisting paths of Battleworld are beginning to unwind. Logan is beginning to see things more clearly, but this is raising further questions. One of the leading ones is, can Logan trust his memories.

Dark Horse

  • Fight Club 2 #4 – Tyler’s latest Project Mayhem is quite the thing. Whenever things escalate with Tyler, it will always go awry. Now Tyler’s “thralls” are being call in to fulfill their pledge of loyalty, but at what cost?
