But when she is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig) – a resident of Times Square and adventurous gal about town – she is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke’s alluringly mad schemes.

  • Hot Pursuit – Blu/DVD – A straight laced cop must protect a debutant drug dealer’s wife, from crooked cops and assassins as they make their way across Texas.
  • I am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinny Story – DVD – For forty-five years Caroll has been the voice an the motion behind two of Sesame Street’s most beloved characters, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch. This story follows his path and shows insights into his early collaborations with Jim Henson. More than anything it shows why Big Bird is still so well loved.
  • Match – DVD – Tobi is a successful if eccentric ballet instructor in Manhattan. This comfortable life is interrupted by a young couple that shows up under the pretense of making a piece about his life. But this turns odd when they couple reveals a secret that ties all their lives together.
  • Police Story: Lockdown – Blu/DVD – Life has been hard for Police Chief Zhong Wen, his success and his work ethic kept him from his family. On this night he is seeing his daughter and her fiancé. But the fiancé is known to Chief Wen and it is not in a good way.
  • Unfriended – Blu/DVD – Years ago a video went viral that pushed a girl to commit suicide. Now her spirit is singling out her old friends and bringing them into the afterlife.

Comics:

DC

  • DC Comics Bombshells #1 – This new series goes beyond a unique aesthetic for figurines. In this alternate history WWII is faught not just when GI’s on the ground it’s also heroes on the front lines and back at home. The story begins with Batwoman, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl!

Marvel

  • A-Force #3 – A-Force is on the run. Suspicion has fallen on She-Hulk, and this has brought the focus of the Thor Crops on them. But as the team unwraps the mystery it appears one of their own threw She-Hulk under the bus.

Dark Horse

  • King Tiger #1 – Secrets are dangerous things, espeically when you are King Tiger, mystic warrior and sorcerer. This secret could do more than shame it could affect his destiny!

  • Dream Police #7 – Joe and Kate go deeper into the Dreamscape than any have dared before. Here in the fringe thought off-limits, they hope to gather the information they need. As one might expect, their actions don’t go unnoticed, and the nightmares may be their end.

IDW

  • X-Files Season 11 #1 – Conspiracies abound! And now Mulder is at the center of the bulls eye. He’s now mentioned in the same breath as Edward Snowden and Juian Assange! But Scully has his back and with the help of some other allies they will clear Mulder’s good name and defeat the plans of the “Glasses Wearing Man”
