New Releases

In Theaters:

  • Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders – Batman and Robin are back in action to take down their fiendish foes once again with original actors Adam West voicing Batman, Burt Ward voicing Robin, and Julie Newmar voicing Catwoman.
  • Shin Godzilla – It’s a peaceful day in Japan when a strange fountain of water erupts in the bay, causing panic to spread among government officials. At first, they suspect only volcanic activity, but one young executive dares to wonder if it may be something different… something alive. His worst nightmare comes to life when a massive, gilled monster emerges from the deep and begins tearing through the city, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.
  • The Accountant – Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations. With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.
  • Kevin Hart: What Now? – Comedian Kevin Hart follows up his 2013 hit stand-up concert movie Let Me Explain with a sold-out performance of What Now?—filmed outdoors in front of 50,000 people at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field—marking the first time a comedian has ever performed to an at-capacity football stadium.

Music:

  • Utopia Defeated by D.D. Dumbo – The debut full-length release for Australian Oliver Hugh Perry was self-produced and recorded in London.
  • Ruminations by Conor Oberst – The seventh full-length solo studio release for the singer-songwriter was written while visiting his hometown in Nebraska and was recorded over two days.
  • White Glue by Wrangler – This is the second full-length release for the Band formed by Benge, Tunng’s Phil Winter, and Stephen Mallinder.
