New Releases

In Theaters:

  • Alice Through the Looking Glass – Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter
  • X-Men: Apocalypse – Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.
  • The Idol – Gaza. Synonymous to so many with conflict, destruction and despair but to Mohammed Assaf, and his sister Nour, Gaza is their home and their playground. It’s where they, along with their best friends Ahmad and Omar, play music, football and dare to dream big. Their band might play on second hand, beaten up instruments but their ambitions are sky-high. For Mohammed and Nour, nothing less than playing the world famous Cairo Opera Hall will do. It might take them a lifetime to get there but, as Mohammed will find out, some dreams are worth living for.


  • Summer of ’13 by Malcolm Middleton – The first new solo release for the Scottish artist under his real name in seven years features contributions from De Rosa’s Martin John Henry, First Aid Kit drummer Scott Simpson and Beta Band’s Gordon Anderson.
  • Kidsticks by Beth Orton – The seventh full-length release for the British singer-songwriter is her first since moving to California and was produced by Andrew Hung.
  • British Road Movies by Kate Jackson – The debut solo full-length release for the Long Blondes singer was produced by Bernard Butler.



    • DC Universe: Rebirth #1 – It’s a bright new day for the DCU, it’s a return to character core and the orbiting universe. It’s a return to what so many people loved and felt was missing from the current DCU.


    • Captain America: Steve Rogers #1 – The original Cap is back. He has a new shield and new friends, and an old enemy to take down! Hail, Hydra!

    Dark Horse

    • Aliens: Defiance #2 – Hendricks and crew decide to follow a new course which takes them to a space station found in the logs of the Europa. This will lead them deeper in to the mystery around their mission.


    • East of West #26 – As the course of diplomacy fades so does the fate of the world.


    • Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas #1 – An astonishing adaptation of the seminal work of Hunter S. Thompson.
