  • The Divergent Series: Allegiant – After the earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Tris (Shailene Woodley) must escape with Four (Theo James) and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city.
  • Midnight Special – A father (Michael Shannon), goes on the run to protect his young son, Alton (Jaeden Lieberher), and uncover the truth behind the boy’s special powers. What starts as a race from religious extremists and local law enforcement quickly escalates to a nationwide manhunt involving the highest levels of the Federal Government. Ultimately his father risks everything to protect Alton and help fulfill a destiny that could change the world forever.
  • Miracles from Heaven – A young girl suffering from a rare digestive disorder finds herself miraculously cured after surviving a terrible accident. Based on the book ‘Three Miracles From Heaven’ by Christy Beam.
  • Take Me to the River – Ryder, an artsy, confident California teen heads to Nebraska for a family reunion. After planning to come out to his conservative relatives, he holds off at his mother’s request but nevertheless makes a showy entrance at the cookout with his short shorts and his eye-catching shades. No one seems particularly impressed except his 9-year old cousin Molly, who likes to follow him around. When they go to the barn to look for birds in the rafters and she comes back screaming and inconsolable, Ryder comes under suspicion and, in the process of clearing his name, learns that some family secrets are sometimes better kept that way.


  • Post Pop Depression by Iggy Pop – The 17th solo studio release for the rock artist was produced by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and features contributions from Homme, QOTSA’s Dean Fertita, and the Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders.
  • Star Wars Headspace by Various Artists – Executive produce by Rick Rubin, artists such as Baauer, Bonobo, Flying Lotus, Galantis, Kaskade, Royksopp and Rustie include sounds and/or dialogue from the Star Wars films on 15 tracks for this electronic compilation.
  • Barbara Barbara, We Face a Shining Future by Underworld – The ninth full-length studio release for the British techno duo was co-produced with High Contrast.
  • Girl at the End of the World by James – The 14th full-length studio release for the British rock band was produced by Max Dingel.
  • Brute by Fatima Al Qadiri – The second full-length release for the experimental electronic producer was influenced by the events at Ferguson as well as the Occupy and Black Lives Matter movements.

  • The Big Short – Blu/DVD – Based on a true story (and self acknowledging when it deviates) of a group of everyday guys who bet against the banks before the housing crash of 2008. It was also nominated for Best Picture at the 2016 Academy Awards.
  • Brooklyn – Blu/DVD – This nomination for 2016 best picture is about a young woman in 1950’s Brooklyn that pines for her Ireland home. Her dreary outlook is spun into a new direction as Tony, who immediately falls for her, helps her see that love and life happen no matter where you are, or are from.
  • Carol – Blu/DVD – Based on the 1952 novel The Price of Salt the story centers around the love affair between Carol, a married mother of two daughters, and Mara, a store clerk.
  • Sisters – Blu/DVD – Tina Fay and Amy Poehler play a pair of sisters that have drifted apart, but come together one last time to throw a party before clearing out their childhood home.



  • Black Canary #9 – The Canary has fought through an army to escape a mysterious battle ground. Now back in Gotham she is still pursued by said army. This time she has an extra pair of fists as Batgirl steps in to help.


  • International Iron Man #1 – It’s a bold new day for Tony Stark. His past cast into shadow as questions about his parentage arose; he now strikes out on a quest to determine exactly who is Tony Stark and who will Tony Stark become.

Dark Horse

  • Dragon Age: Magekiller #4 – Our heroes are sent to the Hissing Wastes where they encounter a slaving ring for unknown purposes. To eliminate the slave camp there will need to be an unexpected alliance.


  • Monstress #4 – Maika’s world has become even more dangerous.


  • My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #40 – Twilight and Spike are known now, but there was a time when they were strangers. This is the story of how they met and became friends.
